Nutrition 1: Dogs
Introduction
In this lesson, Chipper and Driver help students explore the basic science of food. We will discuss the six main nutrients and detail why are they important to a dog (or a human). We all want to have the healthiest and happiest body that we can and it starts with a knowledge of nutrition.
Learning Objectives
Students will understand nutrition as the the science of food. They will learn the six nutrients and look closely at how each function in a dog’s body. Students will also discover that food is really just an energy source and it is measured using calories.
