Dogs | The Kennel

Today the dogs arrived back at the kennel in Two Rivers. They are all pleased to be home.

Chipper is happy her neighbors Commando and Driver are home and she can yell at them all she wants
Gravy is happy to see Peach

    Thanks Karolyn and Mark for the safe transport, and Linda in Anchorage (I am assuming this is the Linda who is guardian to cute little Midnight).

    There is a lot to be grateful for. No the race didn’t go as planned, but Aliy is safe and hopefully recovering well. And the dogs are home safely. You have to find the positive in the disappointment.

  • Both the racers and those dogs who had been left at home look happy to be reunited for sure! Commando looks like the “boss” that he is – he certainly has lived up to the name you gave him when he was born!

  • So happy to see them at home. Quick question… what happens to the unused drop bags? Do they eventually find their way back to SPK? That’s a lot of food, booties and gear. Just curious. Get well soon, Aliy.

  • We’re so glad to see that everyone is safely back home. We hope that Aliy can soon howl with her ‘Pack’, as we’re sure that they are wondering where their commander is.   • That photo of Rodney and his bone is great! I hope Ally will soon be feeling as good as he is.

    I read that the purr of a cat has been known to speed healing and confirmed by research — so I hope Ally has a cat that will curl up on her shoulder and go to work 🙂
