Here is some mixed media for you to enjoy…

This video has a short pre-race interview and shows the team leaving the start chute then leaving Two Rivers Lodge checkpoint over the road crossing towards the Store.

I interviewed Aliy in the car on the way home from town today about her Two Rivers 200 race and her superstar team. It’s kinda long so grab a cup of your favourite beverage or download to your device and listen in the car. (It’s in two parts)

Check out Julien Schroder’s Facebook page for more great pics of our teams.

  • I love the audio recaps..so fun! I am so happy that Rodney is back to being Rodney and glad that Cayenne is hitting her stride. Now onto the Quest!!

  • Yes….LOVE the audio recaps…I think you can fit a lot more in as compared to the written word…very cool! You got some great “up and comers” in that bunch! The future is certainly filled with potential at SPK!

  • So awsome for me in Michigan to see & feel excited. Really wish I was there. You all are so great to share this with us.

  • I love learning about the two year olds. Thanks for taking the time to give all the details. SPKennel did great and I’m so glad Jeff made the decision to go home and give the younger ones a good experience.

Sanka, good job girl! Im eager to see you develop and gain experience.

Thanks again for the awesome recap. Now onward to the YQ.

  • WOW What an awesome recap. The in-depth thought process behind the placement of the dogs, how they performed, how the overall trail was (ahem) brings the whole thing into focus for us fans.

Thank you so much for this!

  • Oh my!!!

    What a MAGNIFICENT report!!!

Julian Schroeder’s photos are wonderful (I think the doggies, all of them, know to look at his camera and smile)!!!

Then the quick “TV field reporter Aliy” report on the team with video clips (well done!!!) and finally…detail in full, dog by dog, correlated by age and family relationship via audio.

    Can’t thank you enough!!!

    WOOF WOOF WOOF

  • Thanks for sharing the interviews and the video! The picture was fantastic with the dogs looking at the camera!
Well done Aliy and the Red Team!

  • These audio recordings are “Da Bomb”!! It’s so great to hear Aliy’s analysis of each team member and his/her performance. Thanks for keeping your fans informed. Curious how newcomer “M” did on the R&B team.

  • THANK YOU AGAIN! Loved hearing the audio recap. Love hearing about the details of how the 4-leggeds’ moods and personalities ‘come alive’ through various parts of the race. It did sound like a lot harder race than usual, because of the new dumping of snow and how the race course was kind of a ‘tease’ getting closer to kennel homes and then moving away again. But what great training for all of the team members. Good job, Red Team! And good job again to the R+B Team! Lots of potential in these younger dogs; it’s very exciting to hear how they are growing into their potential, under SPK’s guidance and care.

  • I loved hearing about all the dogs in the recap. What a great positive update on all the pups and hearing about their personalities and “antics “. I especially loved hearing about little miss Chipper and had to chuckle. If I close my eyes and can just see her looking back at Aliy and giving her a look that says “watch this”. You would not hav guessed it by the video, she looked so content to just stand there and cuddle up to Aliy.

    Great job to both teams!!
    Heidi
