Dog Fan Club Draw

Congrats to today’s Dog Fan Club winner: Sue Weiss who is a fan of Violet.

Violet is a rockstar. She was one of the hardest workers on both the Yukon Quest and the Iditarod. She enjoys being down the back of the team, we think maybe because she is a little cross-eyed and doesn’t see the trail like the other dogs (lol).

One of the funniest things about Violet is that she screams with joy going up hills. When she first starts to scream it can startle the musher and other dogs as they think someone has hurt themselves, but she is simply wishing the team would go faster up the hill.

Sue wins an “Iditarod Dog Team Crossing” sign that will be signed by Aliy and Allen once we are back at the kennel plus a glam shot of Violet and some other kennel goodies.
