We are off to the finish line to set up for the Black Team’s arrival into Nome.
Allen is on track to bring these youngsters in for his fastest ever finish!
Congratulations Allen, Quito, Chica, Lester, Nacho, Amber, Champ, Chena, Driver, Iron, Junior, Lydia, Nomex, Sissy, Spark, Tinder and Violet!
I thought so.
Not only a fastest finish, personal best for Allen.
He also tied his record for getting to most dogs to Nome, 14!
Woohoo, FOURTEEN dogs in record time!
Allen, you are the Iditarod puppy master.
Wow, 2017, wow, very EXCITING!
🙂
Yippy ! Go the Supercharged Black Team and there Super Musher Allen 👏🏻⚫️🐾🐾❤️. Woof woof Denali and Joanne 🇦🇺.

NICE!! Go glad they will be back together soon!
AWESOME! Go Allen! Go Black Team! Can't wait to see them finish. The 'half puppy' team seriously eating up the miles. So proud of them. So excited about this new group of SPK athletes – the youngsters. The future is looking bright. Keep doing what you're doing Aliy and Allen – it's obviously paying off in big, happy and healthy teams crossing finish line after finish line – young and old. I'm in awe. Congratulations to everyone who's a part of SP Kennel.
I'm guessing they arrive at 2:50 AKDT, which is 5:50 where I live.
No quit in Quito. Show 'em how it's done!!!!
Allen, racing home to his girl.
This is fabulous!
It is 2:53 PM AKDT and I am sitting here watching the chute, wondering if the commentator will give us the run down on what a great guy Allen is.
He sure should, because he is one of the best.
Wow, she says – Wow, I say. Those dogs look peppy.
Just watched the super crew finish on the tracker… Awesome… Look forward to vids & pics from SPK… WHAT A FANTASTIC GROUP OF DOGS AND PEOPLE you guys…
Hooray for the Black Team!
I'm so happy I got to see them finish. I didn't think I was going to see it. The dogs looked so happy. Iron and Driver's tails were wagging happily and it looked like they wanted a say in Allen's interview that was right in front of them. Now I have to sign off for a few hours (good withdrawal practice for me). Can't wait to see what is on the Dog Log when I get home later this evening. GO SPK!
One more comment and then I will shut up;
Allen, one of your best finish interviews ever. Of course, with the live feed they let us hear it all, but your support of Aliy and commitment to her and your dogs came through loud and clear.
When you talked about how it was different, raising them from puppies, how you took it easy and then the satisfaction of watching them mature, it brought to mind comments you have made about how you would not be able to choose just one dog from a litter. Watching each litter grow, and being able to keep them with you at the kennel, must bring you both great satisfaction.
All very, very nice and heartfelt.
Woo Hoo Allen!!!! As I write this you have already come into Nome. The team looked good as if they could keep on going. What a gift you have to nurture and teach these young dogs what they can do and do it successfully.
Hope you get some good rest and enjoy time with Aliy and your family.
Cheers and congrats to you,
Heidi
Good job, great job, XLNT!!!! This is fantastic. Now the no-longer-rookies can get home to tell the Surfivers and the Coffee and Golden Harness pups all about it and that if they eat right, learn fast and work hard, they can have this great adventure too!!! Yip, yip, yip. Well done SPK–but that is what we expect!
WooHoo!,
,
Wouldn't it be fun if SP Kennel had two competitive teams next year?
Congrats Allen and team. I am sure happy Quito got to go! Great race!
Love Quito forever!
Aliy & Allen both finish with almost full teams. What a testament to both of you and the kennel. What out next year, there will be two dynamite teams to contend with. Go SPK.
