In our new occasional series “Slow-Mo Sunday” we take video clips and, as the title suggests, slow them down. This is a really great way to truly appreciate our amazing dogs in action!
These clips are of the Red Team during 2015 Iditarod. You’ll see some start line action from Fairbanks, the team leaving Manley checkpoint and then crossing the finish line in Nome.
Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks so very much for this wonderful picture of Quito receiving heart-felt thanks from her ever grateful musher.
I got all choked up…again…over this video, fondly,
Margaret
Thank you. Never gets old.
I loved this video–so much Ithat I watched it 3 times in succession. It was a beautiful run.
Love this!! SP Kennel is truly amazing in sharing with your fans!
Love the moment with Scout at the end….I'm sure Aliy has all these moments slow-mo'ed in her mind as well as her heart….what a wonderful way of preserving the memory…great video…thanks for sharing!
Love it. Seeing some of team no longer racing brought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much. What a powerhouse team.
Thanks
Thanks. In slow-mo I can really appreciate the size difference between Mac and Mismo compared to the others. Love Scout's hug. Can't wait to see him leading the way this year. He means business!
Loved this video! What memories! I felt the same chills this time as I did the first time. Loved seeing our boy Scout leading the team and getting his big hug. Now we're looking forward to more memories from the trail with Aliy, Scout, and all those special SPK dawgs.

As I watched the image of Aliy hugging Scout I thought about how hard it must be to have so many wonderful dogs come into your life; train them, love them, care for them, share the trail with them and then at some point, let them go to another home. Those of us you allow to care for your dogs as they leave the team only see the up side – we bring great dogs into our homes!
But for you, it must be hard.
Beautiful!
That Mismo really is a pony!
Large and small, SPK looking like a smooth machine.
