See Chipper and Viper, Biscuit and Felix, Beemer and Kodiak, Junior and Chemo, Lester and Commando, Pepe and Boondocks, Sandy and Dutch, and Allen cross under the burled arch in Nome after 11 days, 16 hours, 52 minutes and 43 seconds.
Between certain hours of the night the siren doesn’t sound in consideration of local residents so someone imitated it on the microphone – he did a pretty good job!
Woohoo. Thanks for the video. Awesome.
Skunk's Place Kennels – Red Team/Black Team – what an amazing family of canine & human champions including all the handlers, helpers, close & extended families… SP truly rocks !!! j & miss m – NM
Great SP Kennel Video! (I was misinformed when I said in an earlier post that the Insider didn't post a video of Allen. They did; I just did't see it.)
Allen and his Black Team really looked good coming in. I'll bet some of them will graduate to the Red Team next year.
Again, SP Kennel, thanks for all your "behind the scenes" hard work and your Iditarod blogs, photos, and videos. For someone who can't be there in person, y'all are godsends.
Hats off to the Black Team and ALL of the SP Kennel Crew….you did a WONDERFUL job covering both Teams from Anchorage to Nome….THANK YOU!!
Wonderful race, Black Team!!!

So special to be able to see the Black Team finish…again a million thanks for the video and all who made this race so accessible to all us fans… (:

Excellent video!
Great imitation of the siren
Allen and Aliy raining up to the finish, ha ha.
The dogs look like they still have some pep left.
Now that Allen is resting in Nome.
There are a few individuals who have done something amazing and rare this Winter.
Allen, Quito, Nacho, Chica, Waylon, Willie, Mac, Schmoe, Scooter, Izzy and Clyde…
all raced approximately 2000 miles from Whitehorse, Yukon to Nome Alaska, by way of Fairbanks and Huslia.
WOW!!!
I bet 2915 is unforgettable.
🙂
Love the video. The dogs look great! Thank You!
Ha ha,
This is me, not quite caught up on sleep.
training, not raining
2015 not 2915
Great job Allen and Black Team athletes! SPKENNEL rules!
Thanks SO MUCH for putting that up!! Dogs look so happy, WOO, I saw Kodiak, my sweet boy …so very nice to see him finally! Simply great. My pups ran to the screen to see what was going on! HAHAHA!
Thanks again … Best, Trish
wow…that's all I can say….for the Red Team and the Black Team …the 2-leggeds and the 4-leggeds…WOW. Congratulations to all of you. You all show the 'rest of us' what is means to be great athletes, great sports, great people and canines working together towards an unbelievable goal…to race with health and happiness. The entire SP Kennel family is what I follow and what I admire – thank you for sharing your lives with us. I'm a recreational musher who used to have to listen to obscure AM radio broadcasts to find out Iditarod positions back in the 80's. This is heaven – to be able to follow you all on a daily basis. You are all champions. Champions of grace, integrity, humor and life. Keep up the good work and thank you again for letting us watch and follow.
Awesome video! Thank you so much to the SPK crew for the updates, photos, and videos. Both Red and Black Teams had an amazing race and looking forward already to next year!
Awesome video. The Black Team looked fantastic coming in. Chipper was great with Viper. SPK is the best & the future looks bright for the yahoos and other young dogs coming of age. Thanks to all in the SPK "family " for a wonderful Iditarod.
So great to see the Black Team coming in. All the kids look awesome, and Viper too. Woowooo Chipper, way to be the mini-leader. So proud of SPK in 2015!
