  • Thank you so much for this magnificent movie of the Iditarod experience completed in March.

It seems most of these clip were new for those who follow the website – and the perhaps "blow hole" section was chilling, remembering how frightening it was at the end…anyway, you are awesome, the dogs are awesome and we're rooting for you all the time back here in CT!!!

    Best,

  • That was fantastic!! The video brought the whole trail into focus…yes a race, but what gorgeous scenery too….and what was that funky tall stuff growing at the halfway point anyhow…..and where was the darn snow??? The dogs looked great…doing what they love to do!! How awesome of an adventure to go out into the Alaskan Wilderness with your team of faithful companions!! Well done SPK Red Team…well done!! Can't wait to see what this season brings!

  • What a great sneak peak into what many of us would never see! Dogs look fab and always look to be enjoying themselves.! Here's to another great year! We'll be chearing for you again in 2015! Cheers from MN.

  • Wow, Aily, that was a beautiful video. You make it look so easy, but we know it wasn't! I enjoyed the ride very much and best wishes to you and the team in 2015.

  • Thank you for taking us on the ride with you. What an awesome experience –the scenery, wind, snow & lack of snow changes mile after mile. What fabulous dogs. Go SPK & Red Team. Aliy you have such a heartwarming smile. Thanks so much for sharing. Here's to much more snow this year and a first place finish.

  • An excellent way to address groups who are new to Iditarod (or even if they aren't)!!!

    The dogs look great!

  • What an awesome and emotional movie, Aliy! You make the Iditarod seem so 'effortless'! And, you show the beauty of the place and the communion between you and your beloved dogs!!!
Thank you so much for this post!

  • I love this video. This will be on my mind while I watch your GPS tracker. I appreciate having the vivid visuals for your travels through the Rohn Runway, Farewell Burn, approaching McGrath, Unalakleet, Between Shaktoolik and Koyuk, and near Golovin. I will be praying for much more snow this year, but not in the air, like you experienced near Safety.
It looks optimistic considering your Oct. 13 post :-).
    Training is looking great.
    Do it for YOU Aliy!

  • Excellent summary. Great educational material. I will be showing it to my dog loving friends.

  • Finally had time to sit down and enjoy the video. Watching the team work so well together over 1000 miles is inspiring. The dogs are so steady, whether it is at 50 miles or 1000. Thanks Aily for taking the time to take the video and share it with your fans.
