She had a great start! Her team decided they didn't want to follow the snow path put down for them, so they took her on the road just beside the snow requiring a skillful manoeuvre around somebody's camera tripod that was left unattended.
Rooting for Meghan and the SP Athletes!! Here in Pittsburgh PA. Actually, I am at my desk at work and following on the tracking map… hope my boss doesn't catch me 🙂 Best wishes to you!

Oh wow! This is so exciting!!! Their tracker is great. From looking at the section from the start line to Dawson, I can see that Meghan and the pups are making great progress!

Question, is there any specific checkpoint where the mushers can drop dogs?
Question, do the handlers travel by truck to meet the mushers at every checkpoint?

This is great…..I love a race with an SPK Team in it!! Makes me HAPPY! Awesome tracker…I'm so excited for Meghan and her Team….what a great adventure!! Bet the scenery is fantastic!!
