I just got a text from Moira saying that while she and Meghan are back at they Kennel they’re taking advantage of a lull in the action.
If you think that means they’re taking well-deserved naps you are entirely wrong.
Instead, they’ve just taken every dog left at the Kennel out on a 4-hour training run!
After all, the Iditarod is only a few weeks away and everyone needs to stay in shape…
Let them know in the comments how much you are in awe of their commitment to SPK!
Without a doubt, Moira and Meghan make up part of the BEST support team any kennel could ever hope for. SPK is lucky to have both of you lovely, dedicated ladies.

Way to go Moira and Meghan! What better way to relax than on the back of a dog sled with just you and nature. OK, relax might be pushing it, but we do appreciate your dedication to each and every member of SPK. Not to mention the fabulous job of keeping us updated on what is happening in the races.

Besides dedication and devotion to the 4-legged members of the SPK family, the M&M maestros of fun and play feel for those left at home whilst 28 plus others are out having fun with Red, Black and Ryno sleds!!!
Those at home at the kennel must get ready and stay in shape because there are extra slots on the 2 x 16 dog teams at Iditarod!!!

My goodness…..I am so impressed with the SPK Crew!! Glad the bench warmers got some action out on a training run…I feel kinda bad for the pups left back at home! Bet you made their day!! You guys are the absolute BEST! Now don't forget to get some rest too!!
Having seen the M&M's at work…I am so grateful they are a huge part of the SP Kennel Crew. It takes a village and these gals are on top of it. AND they love these dogs as if they were their own.
