  • Ah a snapshot in time. The 3 amigos talking dogs at stepping stone. But it looks like Allen is leaving… We await your analysis on how rested each team is, speed etc!

  • LOL, you're so funny Macgellan. It really doesn't get any closer, because you can't zoom in any closer.
But now, you have to zoom out to see Allan, because he did blow through.
Maybe only Aliy knows if he like lasagna…
but we've all heard he doesn't like to carry extra weight.
    I hope his strategy works!!!

  • I have been checking on the run-rest numbers as things have progressed, and Allen has saved 6hrs on Brent and 4hrs on Hugh in terms of how many more hours the Black Team team has rested than the other teams (Sass & Neff).

This was as of 8:48pm EST (4:42AKST).

I don't know what that means, however.

  • Would it be rude to hope that Hugh and Brent are in a Lasagna induced deep sleep? OK, I'm just going to be rude then!

  • :-/ Off route. I hope Allen is just planning to camp. It looks like he has followed the river, but the trail doesn't follow the river???
That darn Brent is right on his tail too….
    ????????
    AHHHHHH

  • Ahh I want to yell Mush and then I remember how many times I crashed
Drive your race we have faith in all of you.

  • Wow, since Brent left Stepping Stone, Allen has widened his lead from 3.5 to about 7 miles. Crazy! I expect Allen and his team will get in to Pelly Crossing before midnight (unless??), where the wonderful SPK team awaits! Woohoo!
I hope Allen and his teammates get some much deserved rest, food and shoulder rubs.
You too Macgellan, rest and maybe some ulcer or antacid medication? I'm heading to work. Can hardly wait to see what…in the morning.

  • I am going to wear some SP Kennel gear to an important video job we've got to do later this morning, so I won't be able to watch Black Team 4-legged members reel in the lead team a bit more 'til the afternoon.

I agree with a previous poster: This is more exciting and a closer contest than another sport provided recently, indeed!!!

And for those in the northeastern U.S.A., we look just like the frozen north, and have, for the whole race so far – 6 degrees right now (7:29am EST)with snow pack from two storms this past week!

    Woof, woof, woof!!!
