Right now there are three important things going on for the dogs: eating, sleeping and gently stretching out. Much the same is happening for Allen too! Soon, though, they will all start getting restless and want to get properly moving again so we’re taking the dogs home to Two Rivers tomorrow where they can be back in their own houses. Over the next week we will take them on some short, slow stretch out runs on home trails before building back up for the Iditarod.
Scout and Nacho enjoy their beefy, kibble breakfast
Mac can’t wait for seconds, Chica wolfs her breakfast down
Allen, Aliy and Quito stay in Whitehorse for the banquet – we’ll do a post later about how Queen Quito will spend her week in Whitehorse.

Thanks Moira for the update. Let us know how Aily's talk on Long Distance Mushing goes Wednesday… someday I hope to hear her in person. As always, you and the crew bring the races to life for those of us who cannot be on the sidelines cheering the teams on.
What yummy looking dog food. They are not turning their noses up at it are they? Thanks for the update. Safe travels back to Two Rivers. When is the YQ banquet?
