A catch-up video of the team arriving and leaving Pelly Crossing checkpoint over night. Turn the sound down, Mac gets kinda loud!
Hooray for great wifi!

Now why would we ever want to lower to volume of cheerleading SPK dogs?!? Great video – thanks so much, loved it!
I know I'm biased… But ever since I met Mac as a pup (and was in the sled bag for his first ever run in harness!) I've known he is a "real sled dog"… I think he really "came of age" on Iditarod with Aliy last year, and now he's totally showing his stuff with Allen on the YQ… Besides completely blocking little Boondocks out of the picture, what's not to love about the lad?
The Team looks awesome! Mac is one happy Sled Dog…..let's GO he says! And by the looks on the tracker they are going really great!! Darn proud of Allen and the Black Team!! Thanks for the video!!
You are right… Mac is a WALL, can't see Boondocks at all. I wish there was a picture of Boondocks standing under Mac. Must have been a sight.
When did Allen drop the tail of his sled?
Thanks for the wonderful coverage!
Go Mac! Macgellan, I think your post about Mac moving from the puppy pen to his own house continues to be the most hilarious of the entire SPK blog.

Great video, thanks so much. It is so wonderful to follow YQ with SPK & YQ tracker. What a race. Go Allen & Black Team.
the team looks outstanding!
Thanks Melissa for the Mac link for us newer SPK fans. And here I was thinking that Macgellan named Mac! If he was named after John MacEnroe, then I believe what he's saying is: You CANNOT be serious!!! (and egging on his teammates to be as tough as he is)
the dogs are like, let's go why are we stopping.
So grateful to be a part of the SP Kennel team.
Huzzah!SPK Black Team!!Godspeed!!
