The wind is a constant companion on the Western Coast of Alaska. As a dog team travels across this land there is a “music” that is created by the wind, the rustling of the sled runners and the rhythm of the dogs.

Aliy, what awesome, awesome beauty of the scenery, dogs mushing, & wind. It should include you singing to your wonderful SP Kennel dogs."Just don't throw in the letter "G""(tee hee).
Yes, wonderful. But can you repost without the music?
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to share.
Wow…..gorgeous scenery…..the colors are so vivid…the team seems so focused regardless of the wind! Thanks for sharing!
A different opinion:
I thought that the music worked with the contrapuntal wind "noise." The music kept pace with the team, and the wind sounds put in another line, clearly punishing the doggies, pushing them around…but they kept moving forward at the pace of the basic piano music.
Thank you for this new view of what it is like on the 1000 mile Iditarod trail!
Absolutely beautiful. How courageous of you and the great dogs to travel thru such desolate landscape, but what a powerful experience! Thank you for taking us there Aliy!
