Woo-hoo!!! Ready to cheer on my favorite SPK teams! Hoping and praying for safety on the roads and trails, good weather, healthy dogs, good sportsmanship and awesome adventure for you all. You will be the cause of many late nights for me in the near future, but I'll be cheering mightily from my couch in Ontario! Go Ryne and Aliy!
Will be cheering for Aily and Ryne, GO SPK TEAMS GO. Cheering from Comox, BC. Will be keeping track on the internet, checking the SP kennel Blog, facebook, and Iditarod insider, all updates are so much appreciated.
Safe travels and STRONG racing to all team members, human and canine.
Allen, Wendy, Wes, and Kaz, I thank you in advance for letting us know what is going on. I have seen your posts linked to on many facebook pages. I think a few times you were the first to say what really was going on. You all are awesome!
Aliy, I look forward to the Aliy cam. Your blog was the reason why I got so interested in the Iditarod. I so respect you and Allen. I hope this is the best year ever for you.
Ryne, again I say, it is so totally great that you get to live out your dream. Regardless of how you place, you'll be Rookie of the Year in my eyes.
Aliy and Ryne, know that in the middle of the night when you are tired, you've got fans glued to the computer thinking about you and cheering you on.
Happy trails, have fun, and may God bless your time out there.
Dear Ms Zirkle and Ms Olson,
Our kiwi friend Kate and her partner NJ are going to be Iditarod volunteers, probably at Rohn and Takotna. It is exciting to think that they will be seeing you (and my Quito) soon! I wish it could be me!
Good luck and I will be following you every day. I have my route map up on my wall and I have your sleds ready to go.
From Indigo
Go Ryne!
We are routing from you down in Colorado. You make us proud. 🙂
-Tad, Kristen, Brennan, Davis & of course, Alpine and Ellie!
