Terrific performance, great team, congrats from all your fans and supporters!
Bob Alberta.
The team looks great! To still be standing and wagging tails after such an effort shows what great care and training they have received. Biscuit and Tatfish look anxious for their snacks.
The dogs look fantastic!… Everyone up on their feet… Tails wagging… Perfect! Looks to me like Aliy is going to have an awesome Iditarod team… Less than 20 days away!!!!!
This video tells it all. Those dogs are healthy and happy. Another great run for Allen!
Allen, Did anybody ever tell you you really have class? You are a class act at these races accepting defeat with such humility & pride. Much we can learn from you besides your double poling technique! Wishin' you lots of hot tubs & massages from Aliy…
Congratulations Allen and dogs! What a great race. And I agree with MBB, the whole kennel is a class act. Thanks for the fun, now for some sleep.
fantastic race Allen! Our Super Dog core is more than ready for the trip to Nome…add Butter, Bullet, Bonita, Malibu…OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Thank you Allen for being an outstanding role model for my students who followed your race. You are a winner for finishing strong with happy tail wagging dogs and giving your best effort. We are proud of you and your team!
You led for the entire second half of the toughest race in sled dog sports, and I think that alone speaks volumes. Well done, Allen, well done!
Wow! What a journey. I am thankful that my prayers for Allen and the team have been answered. God has given us our desire, our will, our health and stamina…. and our animals to enjoy and care for. They bring us great joy. I know that Allen and the dogs took in an abundance of His art work along the trail…ALL of this is a testiment to His awesomeness.I look forward to following you on the Iditerod.
When Allen said he wanted to improve his place this time around, I had no idea I'd watch a duel for first at the end.
I can't see the video until I get home, the streaming here at the Clarion seems to be a bit slow, but I know what I will see – happy dogs, tails high and a musher who is as solid as they come.
Dear Mr Moore, Congratulations on coming 2nd in only your 2nd Yukon Quest! I don't think many other mushers could do that. I am very proud of you and of Quito, who I noticed led a lot of the race. Please give her a huge smooch on the snout from me. Congratulations again for achieving such an amazing, fantastic, rewarding and difficult feat. Well done! From your dedicated fan, Indigo
