Wow…Thanks for posting your videos. You need your own reality show!
Wow….awesome video! Way to mush Aliy – good dogs!

Holy Cow! I have read about the Blow Hole in the detailed notes of the routes between checkpoints, but that is totally incredible – having to be sure they guide landward so steadily.
Since the most daring thing I ever do is drive a car and fly in airplanes, once again I am in awe of what Aliy, Allen, Bridgett, and Ryne face with grace and daring.
That looks treacherous! Good dogs!
Thanks for the great video! Can't wait to show it to my kids at school. We talked about ground blizzards as a hazard on the trail.
I loved the "tundra" comment. What an unbelievable experience it must be to trek all across Alaska, and then race hard at the finish! Wow!
amazing you kept filming. Great job. thanks for sharing. congratulations for getting to Nome in 11th place. all the best. Maureen , new fan from Comox,BC
And you thought you had escaped all the bad weather this run!
Yikes, it's like going over moguls at the ski run! And those dogs just soldier on. Well trained.
I didn't know that locusts traveled in herds…. 🙂
Nope… not locusts… Brrr. Good Dogs..
I am a new dog sled racing fan and this is my first time following the Iditarod. I have really enjoyed your blog and absolutely LOVE the Aliy Cam.
Did Aliy say "herd of locusts?" This will be remembered like the Pillsbury Dough Boy!
OK, that is just awesome. Only Aliycam would give us footage of the Happy River Steps and the Blowhole of Doom! I kept reading about this (Iditarod site's descriptions of parts of the trail) and trying to imagine it. Thanks for showing us forsthand!
Thanks, Aliy – you are bringing so much more to people who can't be there – love to see the communication between you and your dogs.
