With only a month to go before the Iditarod, it’s time to meet the dogs!

We haven’t introduced you to any so far this season, but Aliy and I have cranked up the shooting schedule and we’ll start bringing videos to you as fast as possible!

Remember, you can see a dog’s video by clicking on the link in their pop-up on “The Dogs!” page. You can also see all the dogs’ videos by clicking on the “Meet The Dogs” link in the “Dog Log Feature Series” over in the side bar on the right toward the bottom.

Meanwhile, meet Li’l Debbie…

  • How are you training for the Denali Doubles since your partners do not live in your town? Or does it not matter if both are experienced mushers?
I understand if you can not say because it gives away race strategy.

  • All of our mushers have had some time to use our DD sled configuration, so they're comfortable with it. The biggest problem, frankly, has been training up 40+ dogs for the race. Aliy and Allen can't train 20+ each at a time, so they're doing many "double shifts" to give all the dogs plenty of conditioning. Thus, the human training factor really hasn't been an issue, but the dog training factor has been quite a grind!

  • Aliy, in my 4th grade class we are fallowing the Iditarod. My teacher gave me you as my musher.I HOPE YOU WIN THE GOLDEN HARNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!from Emma P.S.I'm rooting for you.
