In Part 2, Allen and Aliy talk at length about the dogs: how well they performed, who got dropped and why, what winning the humanitarian award is all about, etc. We know how much you all love the dogs. Here is the in-depth, inside story about them in the CB300.

I had mentioned once that I would like to know how Aliy determined which animals could race and when .. such thoroughly satisfying answers. Congratulations again on the award that acknowledges the great job your all doing.

What type of impact is there on Scout's racing career considering that he had to be dropped after the 70+ mile run to Glenallan due to being tired? Since he is a young dog, will he be given other opportunities to run in races to see how he develops?
Frank — Please don't worry about Scout, he is a fantastic young dog and will have plenty of racing opportunities in his future! Being dropped from a race is no cause for prejudice, especially for a youngster who did 270+ miles on the Copper Basin! Keep your eye on him, he has the makings of a great sled dog.
Excellent!
