Remember when the Fire Litter were just a few months old in November of 2013? This was the first time they had played in snow and, as you can see, they are delighted!

This season they are in their first year as “racing dogs” and we’re excited to see them get even more confident and experienced as the season progresses.

You’ve seen this footage before but you get a new perspective when we slow it down.

Enjoy Slow Mo Sunday!

  • Yes they are cute and look awesome in snow – and were named the FIRE litter…because of the fires that displaced the kennel in the summer of 2013.

Thanks so much for this clip and reminder that the 11-member strong FIRE litter (except for Commando, who's been there, done that) might race the Iditarod soon!!!

    Woof, woof, woof!!!

    Best,

    Margaret

  • Yes….they have grown by leaps and bounds since that video……I love how they all stop and look back like "which way do you want us to go now?" I can't wait to see what this group does this year!! Thanks for the slo-mo view of this amazing pack of pups!!

  • You could tell even then that snow was their element. They loved it! Some great dogs in the making there and we'll be seeing them in action more this year!! Woof woof indeed. Of course I am waiting for the Surfivers and the Coffee Crew to come into their own too! Such fun to watch them grow and find their places. Yep, I am green with envy!!
