  • Beautiful!
    Thank you Jen and Moira.
14 Red Team members on their way to Nome, woohoo!
    🙂

  • Bring 'em home, guys! Keep running your race Aliy! You guys are a great team!

  • Their coming home ! 😍And Denali and l still think ALIY and the Red Team of Doggies are Champions . Will be watching when they finish at Nome and thanks for all the update All the SP kennel team are great . We felt
like we were watching from the trail not from Melbourne Australia. Looking forward to reading how the the Black team enjoyed the journey. A big thanks to you all 👏. Cheers from Joanne and Denali woof woof 🐾🐾

  • Go Aliy and the Red Team! Nome bound and then HOME! Enjoy the last leg…..guaranteed to be more enjoyable than last year!

  • So impressed how this Red Team held together – it was very emotional to see how the leadership role was shared, how this three-generation group (dignified, mature and rowdy) was able to look like they were really having fun and alertly recognizing Sebastian and smiling for the camera!!! While moving down the trail!!!

    Woof, woof, woof!!!

    Best,

    Margaret
P.S. Thanks so much for the extra pix of Black and Red Teams!

  • Am interested in hearing what happened at the end of the race. Sebastian and other mushers felt it was because she had older dogs, which meant slower speeds. Was that a factor? She rested a lot at the end to the point where Jessie caught up and passed her. Were the dogs fatigued?

  • Love the pix, the comments and most of all LOVE those great dogs! Every darn one is a winner and sending out hugs, pets and virtual steaks to all!
One heck of a great race and to finish with 13 on this tuff trail is fabulous!

  • Ditto to Gaye's comments!!!

The Red Team broke trail at UNK near the end, which was no doubt tiring, but all in all, RED TEAM ROCKS!!!

Congrats to Jessie's team for performing so well so far.
