Aliy and the Red Team are through the Huslia checkpoint, spending just 12 minutes there restocking supplies and having vet checks done on the dogs.

She left there at 8.20pm with all 16 team mates and we’re very excited about that!

  • I love the screen shot!
When Aliy blows through, they are my favorite!

So exciting she has all sixteen of her teammates.

Stay healthy, happy, eat, and be energetic all 17 Red team members.
    Woohoo!

  • Yes I just saw this! Tracker is killing me–it acts a little crazy some of the time–stay on the edge of my seat waiting for updates on there! Love to see all 16 pups are hanging in there. Go, go, Aliy!!

  • Thanks so much, again!!!

Coupled with the Iditarod Insider I think SP Kennel website running commentary and research makes this version of "The Greatest Race"…THE GREATEST!!!

We are so fortunate to be able to cheer for:
    1. the most wonderful, personable dogs (32)
    2. the most awesome mushers (2)
    3. the combination of the above defining what is so special about this sport – the bond between and among animals, humans and nature.

    Awesome!!!
