Here is some footage of both teams in Nenana checkpoint back on Monday afternoon.
Aliy and the Red Team went through the checkpoint so there is not much to see but I spent a few minutes watching Allen do his arrival routine and I thought you’d be interested in seeing it too!
Sorry about the wind noise, it was breezy but it really wasn’t THAT windy. It was just hitting my fairly unsophisticated video camera directly into the microphone and it sounds like it’s howling.
Thanks so much for this clip of the young members of the Black Team getting their first experience at bedding down at a check point on the Iditarod (Chipper figures out how to get cozy in her straw – priceless!!!).

I never get tired of watching the routine of stopping, bedding down, feeding, etc. Its interesting to see the difference between the veterans and the "yahoos". Just checked the Tracker and its amazing to see where the Black team is. For a young team they appear to this novice to be doing very well.
