  • Love watching you guys and the teams. You look like you are enjoying yourselves so much! Thanks for sharing and congrats to Allen and team on their win! Go dogs, go!!!!

  • Thanks so much for these. They all make it look so effortless, but we know how hardworking dogs, mushers, handlers and crew work day in and day out. Kudos to all!!

  • These were great videos…watched them both twice! The dogs looked fantastic…..each and every one!! SP Kennel certainly performed well for their first big race of the season! Im SO pround to be an SP Kennel Fan!!! I LOVE this sport…Yukon Quest right around the corner!

  • Love the videos! thanks for all the effort to take and post them so quickly!. Happy Doggies and mushers working hard.I appreciate the work so much. The doggies barks, mushers voices and sled on snow is music to my ears and adds to the experience. Additional music not really needed. thanks for the extra work tho.

  • Everything about SP Kennel is first class! Everyone works so hard 24/7 – 365 days a year. The way you are able to include your fans in the experience deserves an award, it is phenomenal. It is obvious that everything you do is a labor of love. Corporate America should take lessons from you about building teams, those with four legs and two legs.

Ailey – you are going to get a real workout on March 5th.
Mandatory Mushers meeting at 9 AM
Meet and greet luncheon at 12 Noon
Banquet and drawing at 6 PM
Alaska Sports Hall of Fame award at 7:30 PM
All of this and trying to prepare for the March 7 start of the Iditarod. Whew!

  • Sweet Videos! 🙂
Schmooooooowe, right back at ya buddy.
I love the team sleep pile at Meier's Lake, with a few athletes just a little too excited to rest.

Scruggs, with his face in the camera during the start, doesn't miss a step, no wonder he's a media favorite. We saw you Scruggs.
    So many happy dogs. 🙂

  • The videos are fantastic. Kudos to the kennel crew, no other mushers try to include their fans and keep us so well fed with wonderful info and videos. Best wishes for continued success.

  • At least the mushers will have smartphones now to keep better track of the four-legged Red and Black team members when not on the trail!

And the mandatory musher meeting and pasta loading should provide some good material for Aliy's thank you at the Sports Hall of Fame!!!

    Woof, woof, woof!!!

  • Dittos to above comments. Thanks so much for the videos, they are superb. Thanks for including all of us fans in the experience. SPK is the absolute best–mushers, crew, and ALL the fabulous dogs. The young dogs are gaining valuable experiences that will make SPK shine!
