Good morning!… It’s been a busy night!

Overnight, Allen was 16 minutes faster than Nicolas Petit between Sourdough and Lake Louise, making his cumulative run time fastest by two minutes!

Allen left Lake Louise 28 minutes after Petit, but has 30 minutes less rest to complete. Either way you slice it, the bottom line is: Two minutes!

A number of mushers are hot on their heels, and I’ll post more analysis as soon as the online stats are updated… Stay tuned!

  • You would be proud of me Macgellan….I did the math a few hours ago just as you taught me and came up with 2 minutes too! Been waitng for your comfirmation post that I did the math right! Cool…go Allen and the Black Team! What a race!

  • It looks like Allen is gaining even more of a lead on the leg to Tolsona 1. I was so excited this morning, to see that Allen still has his entire team with him. Woohoo!

  • Wow, this is getting exciting! And Gerry and Brent coming up from behind, both having finished their entire mandatory 12.
What do you make of Aliy leaving 3 minutes "early" from Lake Louise? Hope that is an error in reporting… She's coming on strong too. Go SPKennel!!!

  • Yes what's with aliy's 3 min short? And looks like Allen and nic areboth over 18 hrs total rest now???

  • Looks like he gained the other six overnight .. what a close race. I am guessing Aliy's position is based on departure and amount of rest time required, which is very dang cool.
