The Junior Division of the SP Kennel was also hotly contested! All the juniors did exceptionally well and got up to some phenomenal speeds with only a few tumbles. Everyone had fun! ChaCha, Honda, Rose, Stormy and Teddy all took their job extremely seriously and there were lots of tails wagging and tongues panting.
Everyone received participation certificates, medals and a bootie full of goodies. Well done to Merica, Noah, Sammy, Jacob, Isabella and Timber (and helpers). All-in-all it was a really fun afternoon.

Isn't it amazing how much power and speed two dogs can produce!… Even these "old, retired dogs"… That gives you a glimpse into just how much power a full team of peak-condition dogs generates… It's astonishing!

One of the most fun videos I've seen in a long time – thanks so much for sharing it. I see some JR Iditarod mushers in the future. The adults enjoyed just as much as the kids! SP Kennels must be one of the best places on earth, who needs Disney World? Mickey Mouse has nothing on sled dogs.
This totally rounds out the high regard I have for you and your kennel. The fun you were having with the kids, the kids were having with you, and the dogs were having in all ways was wonderful to see. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
