Aliy, Allen and the SP dogs are mushing through ANWR with 4 guests. They began their trip on Sunday with a visit to the kennel and then a flight to Coldfoot on Monday. Tuesday morning they took off on their sleds into the beautiful Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Weather is looking perfect!

Hope Aliy, Allen and guests have a fun time. Aliy and Allen deserve the "down time" to have fun in what they enjoy!! Weather is looking good…-20F at night and 0F during the day…perfect for dog and man! As usual, Kaz has (undoubtably)prepared some awesome meals. Don't forget the Tang and heavy cream. Nothing better than homemade ice cream, at -20F, after a fun day.

Kaz's food was great! I was on the 2009 trip and was amazed at how well we ate. Don't think I ever thanked you Kaz! You're such an important part in making the overall experience just awesome!!

SP Kennel fans….. the four of us got back today from the most amazing ANWR experience. The beauty of the area, gorgeous (cold) weather, the hospitality of Aliy and Allen, those great dogs (go Stormy my great leader and couch potato), and Kaz's food…..there are not enough pictures or words to convey our experience. Spectacular.
SP Kennel fans….the 4 of us (Jennifer, Cyndy, Larry and I) just returned today from the most amazing adventure. Those who have done it before know what I mean. The beauty of ANWR, the gorgeous weather (cold, too), Aliy and Allen's famous hospitality, those great dogs (Stormy my great leader and bed stealer), and Kaz's food….There are no words or photos that can show all that. We had a great time. Thank you Aliy and Allen.
I just got back and miss it already. It was such an amazing experience. Each day I kept thinking, "I can't believe I'm here!" And Kaz's food was soooo tasty. Thank you Allen, Aliy, Kaz, and SP dogs for an awesome time. It'll be hard to go back to work tomorrow.
