We are trying to wait patiently for our SP Kennel Teams, but it’s really hard!! We expect them to roll into the finish line any time now. Wes says the truck is in position and ready for the dogs, and it’s just him and the checker to watch the big moment. I assured him we are all waiting eagerly online to hear and see the finish.

Wes and the checker may be alone physically but you're right – there are many of us waiting eagerly to hear about the finish.
Looking at the most recent leg times… Has anybody else done the math and figured that Ryne could beat Aliy?… How cool it would be for the two of them to sprint to the finish!

Anonymous, if you are going to post something that good you should at least take credit for it!
I made the same observation, Mac, and then decided that Ryne was smart enough to know that beating your boss might not be the best career move. But anonymous said it so much better than I ever could.
(And in all seriousness, I think SPK made it clear that their goals for this race were focused on dog prep rather than place, and I'm sure Ryne was proceeding according to that plan.)
