  • I was really looking forward to seeing this. I went and filled in my Mushers' information and came back for a last peek and you had posted this video. Thank you very much for taking the time to do this. I think I saw Quito and I know I heard Ms Watkins! What an unbelievable finish to the race because the dogs still had energy to sprint to the finish and wag their tails a lot!

  • A very emotional and wonderful moment. The aclarity with which the dogs heeded Aliy as they came into town and Bridgett's joy at Aliy's arrival touched me to the core.

  • Boy did those dogs pay attention! They looked to be in super shape and sooooo professional!!!

  • I am in such awe of all the mushers who deal with the distance, exhaustion, etc. etc. etc. And then to see the amazing control you had over your dogs – what strength you have! And the dogs looked so full of energy considering how long they have been traveling – what athletes! Thanks for sharing this with us!!!

  • Wow.. I've followed along this entire race, watching you and your team. I think I shed a tear as you finished. It was amazing! I don't know about you, but I can't wait to watch you next year. I think next year is your year to win!

    Good Dogs!

    Go, Dogs, Go!

  • Congratulations Aliy and dogs . Thanks for the Aliy cam. It was great following you on the net.

  • The AliyCam into Nome and the finish line!! What an awesome race and finish. Congratulations to you all! Hoss is howlin' for his kennel buddies!

  • OMG! that was awesome, seeing it from the musher's perspective. Thanks again for showing us this! Especially liked to "how to drive sled dogs" moments(seeing when and how you give commands): I can only imagine how hard it is to drive dogs off a dark quiet trail into such light and noise and distration. Been great following you in this race, will look for more great Aliycam! Mush on!

  • Another great Iditarod Aliy, feel I am part of your great family. You must be very proud of your dogs..again.

  • Great job Aliy– we're all so proud of you and your dogs. Just saw Allen come into Nome on the tracker as well– great job SP Kennel! I don't know you guys but following the blog over the past few years has made feel particularly attached to the SP Kennel. FANTASTIC job!

  • Amazing to see how the dogs are still listening and responding to your verbal commands after such a long run – I agree – you must be very proud of your dogs – and yourself – well done 🙂
