After checking SPOT all day, I see that Allen's dog is finally moving! Go Allen! Go dogs!
He went through Pelly Crossing and did his rest at a small cabin called Stepping Stone. Once again he is just running to the dogs' time.
Kaz – is the return half of the 64 mile YK300 Pelly-Stepping-Pelly loop run on the same trail as used by everyone else for outbound direction, or is a different trail set for the return? If same trail, that ought to make for some "interesting" head-on passes for teams. But we all know that SPK dogs are professionals, so they'll do fine!
Thanks for all the updates! Allen sure is running a great race and WOO WHO, he still has all 14 dogs – just fantastic.
