Trying to give you some sense of how long the Team’s run down the Yukon river was, I thought it might help to post one more video from it.
It is sunset again, and Aliy’s Red Team is cruising along. She provides her usual excellent narration of the scene, the terrain and what’s going on with the dogs, then prefaces their arrival in Kaltag and subsequent runs to the coast.
I am so amazed at what those dogs can do! Their athletic ability teamed with the willingness to do whatever you ask them to do! Amazing!
I think that the dogs are hard workers!!

Darby, I was just thinking that. You should seriously approach them and ask about next year. That's pretty amazing video quality for a camera that is operating at 30 below and has already had a run-in with a tree.
