The Black Team arrived in Paxson at 3:47 with 16 dogs in team. There are NO dropped dogs. Two were "left" in Alpine and two more in MacLaren… All according to plan for fresh dogs on return. Dogs are fed and resting, mushers now in same process. Stay tuned!

Hey Mac, I'm sure you have your hands full keeping track of the SP kennel teams, but if you have a chance could you ask someone what happened to Jessie Royer? She was on the start time list which suggests that she was there and planning to race, but now she is listed as withdrawn. Just hoping everything is ok…
And actually – in the Iditarod doesn't withdrawn mean by race officials, as opposed to scratched by her own choice? Is that true here as well? Or does it just mean she scratched before the race started?
