Winning the CB300 Humanitarian award is truly an honor for all of us here at SP Kennel, but we have to admit we’re not solely responsible for winning it.
Nutrition plays such an important part in the dogs’ overall health and fitness that we wanted to do something special to acknowledge the vital role that EaglePack dog food plays as the foundation of their nutrition. So, we decided to put together a short “infomercial” for them.
Aliy set up in the Kennel’s basement/shop with a bag of kibble and we started rolling video. Although it’s probably fair to say we’re pretty good at putting together mushing videos, we’re obviously not much of a professional video production studio! No problem,it is good to see the dogs get good food,Question,do you feed the dogs fish at all.?
Yup… That's Stella poking her nose into the video… At least she wasn't circling the table legs!
We do feed the dogs some fish as snacks during races. It's a good "treat" for them — which they really, really like — and a good way to get some quick calories and fluids into them. We also snack them on beef and turkey fat, but EaglePack MVP kibble is by far the mainstay of their diet.
