Once again, Aliy has done a truly incredible job of telling the story — the whole story — of her Iditarod race. As you will see, it has been a monumental effort!

If you want to know what the Iditarod is really like from a musher’s perspective, you won’t find a better resource than this anywhere!

Thank you, Aliy!

  • Thank you so much for posting these. An awesome read. It's really neat to be able to get such a real inside feel to your race.

  • Fantastic, Aily! I felt as though I was there with you the whole way. What an intense trip!
You made the best decisions that you could at the time you made them – no need to second guess yourself. It is obvious by the high-quality operation that you and Allen have, that you are intelligent, talented dog drivers.
When you share such detailed, personal inside information, you are educating and inspiring many other mushers such as myself.
Thank you for putting in the time and effort. You are truly an example of the best things in this sport!

  • Aliy ~ I have really enjoyed reading your trail notes. Thank you for taking the time to write and share so much. I have no doubt at all that ALL the decisions you made along the way during this especially challenging race were the right decisions. I look forward to next season and once again following the adventures of SP Kennel.

    Warmest Regards,
    Barbara
