Congratulations to Jeff, Commando, Kodiak, Daisy, Amber, Willie, McCaw, QT, Perky and Bruno on finishing in 6th position in the Percy DeWolfe Memorial Mail Race!

They arrived into Dawson City this afternoon at 5:56pm, just two minutes ahead of Alexandra Rochat. He still had his ski-poles out when they crossed the line so you know they all worked hard for that placing.

There is a great Facebook Live video over on the Percy Facebook Page. You can see he finished with Daisy and WILLIE IN LEAD! With Commando and Kodiak in swing, Perky on his own, being very social with the videographer, McCaw and Amber (still jumping to go) then QT and Bruno in wheel.

We have no other info at the moment and will update you more when we hear from Jeff later tonight or in the morning. Jeri said “he is really happy” and we are really proud!

Woohoo! What an excellent way to finish the season for them all.

  • CONGRATULATIONS Jeff and team. It’s hard to tell exactly how close the teams are from the tracker so I was a little surprised, while watching the live feed, that #10 arrived just a couple minutes behind Jeff. Way to go team!

  • Indeed congratulations Jeff, Commando, Kodiak, Daisy, Amber, Willie, McCaw, QT, Perky and Bruno. They all looked fantastic at the finish in the PDW Facebook love video by Sarah Jane Lenart.
Thank you for all the coverage and links.
It’s been exciting. Jeff and Jeri must be so happy.

  • WOW! Way to go Jeff and the SPK 4-legged all stars!!! Woo-hoo!!! What a great finish! Good job! And look at those dogs! That’s the way to do it. Let them run, encourage them, and help them the most you can with health and happy along the way. And look what happened. I was thinking 9th was going to be a respectable conservative finish with everyone healthy and happy. And now I come back to the site and Amber still doing 4 -off- the – floors, they finish in 6th. That is really cool. Thanks, SPK.
