  • Love the photos! Commando and Dutch looked like they were listening to
what Aliy had to say on the stretch out. Can also see Dutch in Allen’s lap
which shows how much they truly depend on each other. Amazing!!!
Congrats to SP Kennel and Crew!!!

  • Commando and Dutch….

Just spectacular leaders! ‘To go where few have gone before’, AND to do it right! Aliy and Allen –
You’ve got to be Super proud of them. !!!

  • Fabulous. Look a those two handsome rascals strutting their classy new gear. That is just fantastic! They sure did do a super-dog job and helped Daddy Allen get to the end of that tuff race. You rock, guys! So proud of SPK and the fantbulous 15 who did this!

  • Very special. I thought Dutch was lovable turning to Allen for comfort in his new surroundings and Commando was completely in charge and on it as he appears to be It was a very much of the time. For me, it was special evening and I was touched more than usual by the stories and heart felt appreciation shown by the mushers for the volunteers and those that support them. Allen was the most relaxed, and dare I say loquacious (?), I think I’ve seen him at a YQ finisher’s banquet.
    ..
    A wonderful evening to watch.

  • When love, intensive care and training combine – the most wonderful things can happen. Congrats to the whole SPK family (2 and 4 legged) for pulling together as a team to make this kind of finish at the end of the trail. Dutch and Commando certainly had a day of firsts…..many thanks for all the pictures, videos, links, and insights. And I’m glad Dutch was able to finish his steak later……when surrounded by lights and people, Allen’s lap is a much better place to be.

  • That Commando is such a ham! I LOVE that smile of his!!! The 2 brothers sure got an experiance to brag about back at the Kennel! I loved how Dutch climbed up in Allens lap on stage….he is too cute!

Thanks for the photos…..SO proud of them and the rest of the Team!
