  • WOOOOHOOO !!!!!!!!! fantastic looking dog team, congratulations on arriving to Nome Allen

  • Excellent video!
    🙂 🙂 🙂
We can see Quito and Allen teaching the youngsters, especially the leaders Junior and Chena, to run past family friends and cameras, after 1000 miles. What a challenge!!!
Running in shoot, we can see the big proud smiles on Scout, Chena, Sissy, Lidia and then a blur of speedy happy dogs. 🙂
And then an up close, one by one, with the amazing athletes, from Allen to Junior, some getting their treats.
    🙂
And Aliy reunited with her four legged family.
    🙂 🙂 🙂
    Thank you Allen and Aliy!
and SPK crew for catching it all!

  • Congratulations Black team on a fantastic Iditarod run. I love the close-ups and I think Champ either gave the camera or the camera person a nice doggie smooch…maybe both. I've watched the Run dogs Run – Finger Lake to Galena video at least once a day. It shows so much of the red team and a small glimpse of the black team. So enjoyable. I couldn't see on the ID website any way to purchase those videos. I love them because it just shows the teams running the trail with nice music and no commentary, interviews, etc…. I also love the video of Aliy arriving in WM and feeding the dogs. it looks like still a few more mushers to cross the finish line. One from Oklahoma that I'm watching. Patrick Beall went to school with my son, but I've never met him. We don't do a lot of dog mushing on OK, so he's made the paper and news a few times.

  • Absolutely outstanding!!! Love the dogs looking at the "admirers" along the trail!!! Hehe! They knew they had done something amazing and were proud of themselves, and rightly so!!!
    Lots of love 💙💙💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶😍😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾✨🍀

  • I could watch this an infinite number of times.

So proud of the Black Team.

    So proud of SP Kennel.

Red and Black the winners in my book!!!

  • Yay Black Team!!! I'm guessing that's Bridget behind the camera. You can tell the dogs know here as they're crossing the road and almost want to come say hi. Quito and Junior do a great job keeping everyone going and focused. Quito knew exactly where she was and that there would be plenty of hi's soon. 🙂 That is a great looking future for SP Kennel!!!

  • Between Allen, Aliy & the arrivals of them & their team mates – it expresses all the hard work, determination and infinate imagination of SPK…

    Beautiful.

  • What a GREAT looking Black Team!! So cool to see Quito in Lead….is it just me or does she have an extremely smooth and efficient gait! Im going to have to learn some ID tricks…Driver and Iron look a lot alike too! Amber, Violet….if I can't see your legs Im at a loss! Junior….your Mom is very proud Im sure! Tinder…you look like your Daddy…you got big shoes to fill….learn as much as you can from him!

Allen is a master of showing the young dogs the trail in such a fun way…Im always impressed how he reads exactly when to push the team and when to rest the team to assure a positive trek across Alaska for the Team….job well done Allen!

  • Great job Allen and the black team. You even finished under 10 days. Yea!

The dogs looking over was cute they recognized people they knew. They looked like they suddenly got taller, head stretched up and ears as high as they could get them. Allen has good control over them to prevent them from visiting.

Great job with the dogs. I can't wait to see these youngsters move up to the A team next year.

  • Yes, it was Junior, not Scout. Honda caught me on that.
    Thanks
I'm getting back to my run rest schedule, and brain function.
Boy, is my dog happy about that!
    LOL 🙂

  • Thanks for the wonderful video of the Black team and Allen. They look super after 1000 miles. Super race Allen & fantastic to see Quito and Nacho. And Tinder you are so, so handsome & special.

  • I love how Quito was always looking into the camera even out on the trail or coming into town. She always had to be a little ahead of Junior showing that she is the boss lady! She is such a so in control leading her team! She knows that she is the queen and wants all the attention but she so deserves it !

  • Well, here's a cheer for Chena, visibly happy as she romps in under the burled arch!!!

As Chena's sponsors, we are so proud of her!!! She is very modest, and would never brag about her exploits.

But running with the leadership under Quito at the start, and at the finish, in swing partnering Lester (with whom she had done so very well in lead for Chris in the TR200) made her show her pleasure and, picking up her head a bit, smiling!

And I couldn't believe how well she was eating at the finish!!!

Thanks so much for giving her this opportunity to be all that she wants to be!!!

    Best,

    Margaret & Al

  • Oh what a joyful video – it made me cry. Allen -you should be so proud. The Black team – look at them strutting up Front St. Some of these dogs have never finished such a long race before and now they've done it, and done it in such a fast time!!! Allen and Aliy – both of you – congratulations on your hard work, dedication, passion, and class. Who wouldn't cry seeing how good your teams looked prancing up to the finish line? Quito of course IS the queen – but some of the other Black team members are vying for 'photogenic sweetness awards' …you can tell the way they look at the camera. Awwwww! 🙂

  • The brave, the proud , the few SPkennel mushers handlers and doggies
you are all truly awesome sending lots of love and congratulations to all of you
